Ever since I heard there was a an island inhabited by happy pigs – roaming free that liked to swim in the ocean – I wanted to go there. Turns out, this piggy paradise is an hour plane ride away in Exuma, Bahamas! So I did what any reasonable person would do, I planned my next birthday around visiting these Bahamian piggies. Once we arrived at the small island of Exuma we realized most of the island revolves around visiting the famous swimming pigs. Here’s a list of other things you an do on your trip to Exuma along with the number one activity – swimming with piggies in the beautiful waters of the Bahamas.

#2 Visit Iguana Island (White Leaf Cay)
Exuma is surrounded by a ton of different tiny islands, and apparently different species have taken over each island because they also have an iguana island. These are giant iguanas resembling tiny dragons. They like to sunbathe on the shores of the islands in hoardes; and you can feed them lettuce!
