For A Spectacular Date Night With A View, Visit Siren’s Table in Ft. Lauderdale

I found the most romantic date night spot in Ft. Lauderdale. It’s called Siren’s Table; and it’s located inside the Westin Ft. Lauderdale. The food is amazing and the ocean views will fill you with serenity. Plus, if you don’t feel like making the roundtrip to Broward in a single night, make it a mini staycation!

I was invited to a blogger dinner with my fellow Blogger Union friends to try the many delicious dishes offered by The Siren’s Table. We met award-winning Executive Chef Michael Mayer whom introduced us to his culinary creations.

We kicked off the 6 course tasting menu with Ahi Tuna Tostada – a crisp wonton topped with fresh ahi tuna,  avocado, and cilantro topped with Sriracha aioli.

The Ahi Tuna Tostada was paired with a Siren’s Song cocktail made with Tito’s Vodka, hibiscus and pineapple. It was refreshing and strong.

Our next dish was the Lobster Bisque Cappuccino with a Cognac Cream. Each portion includes a piece of lobster crab cake.

The Lobster Bisque was paired with prosecco. The bubbly contrasts the thick and creamy lobster bisque balancing the pairing. (side note: When the prosecco flows, I like to make a toast. Here were are cheering to discovering a new amazing spot and hanging out with friends.)

Our third course was one of my favorites. If you like sea scallops I definitely recommend you try the Butter and Lemon Basted Scallops served with asparagus & parmesan crab risotto, morel mushrooms and crispy fried leeks.

Our main course was Dry Aged Prime New York Strip Steak served with potato gratin, creamed spinach and 4 peppercorn sauce. Every bite was decadent, creamy, and satisfying – the way only comfort food can gratify. The steak was juicy and perfectly cooked. This was my favorite dish of the night and I recommend it for all meat lovers.

We ended the tasting on a sweet note with Passion Fruit Panna Cotta topped with Almond Brittle. After such an enormous meal, it was perfectly light and delicious. The food was amazing, the views were hypnotizing, and the service was super friendly. You have all the ingredients for a lovely date night or weekend getaway. The Siren’s Table at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale is definitely worth venturing out of Coral Gables.

The Queens Park Swizzle was my favorite cocktail of the night. It tastes like a spicy and sweet mojito. I love contrasting flavors so this was the perfect drink for me.
