Sculpture Without Sight

Explore your sense of touch by sculpting blindfolded – a  sensory enhancing, immersive, and therapeutic sculpting experience that will have you feeling your way through a mental image. Take in the surrounding music and aromas as you immerse yourself in this unique, one-of-a-kind, sculpting experience. This curated experience is guaranteed to trigger your senses and help you reconnect with yourself while feeling inspired.

Unarthodox experiences are offered for private and public events. Sculpture Without Sight is a phenomenal experience. This experience is not about the final product but the process
of feeling your way through a mental image, the process of exploration of your sense of touch and being in the present moment.

This is an immersive experience with specially selected music and aromatherapy – everything that will help you get in the “zone” and take your attention away from your vision.

The event starts with an introduction to basic clay handling, sensory warm-up exercises, and finally, the main event…sculpting blindfolded!

PLEASE NOTE: You will have to leave your final work of art behind. Sculptures are not intended to be taken home as they are simply a sensory tool in the exploration of the sense of touch.

Total experience is 1.5 hours with approximately 50 minutes of sculpting time.

Unarthodox Miami is located at 180 NE 1st Street, Miami, FL 33132. For tickets and more information visit unarthodox.com

About Author

Paola Mendez is a hypnotherapist, published author, and the curious soul behind Coral Gables Love and The Blogger Union. Her journey didn't start in a clinician's office — it started at age 15, battling a mind that used food to quiet a constant internal critic. After two decades at war with her own subconscious, searching for peace as a self-described "introvert in a loud world," Paola found her way out through hypnotherapy. That same journey pushed her out into the city she loves, discovering the gems hiding in plain sight all around Coral Gables. Today, she channels both passions into everything she does: helping people quiet their inner critic through her hypnotherapy practice Pao Hypnosis, sharing those subconscious healing tools through her app Mochi Zen, and showcasing the people, places, and flavors that make South Florida worth savoring — one matcha latte at a time. She is also the author of A Taste of Coral Gables, a cookbook featuring recipes from the city's top chefs. Say hello at info@coralgableslove.com
