Fashion Friday: Dress To Impress at a Grand Opening

Fashion-Friday-PipelineHappy Friday! We made it through another week. I was battling a bit of a cold these past few days so I’m happy to report I am feeling better and ready to take over the weekend!

Another Friday brings another installment of Fashion Friday and today we will be looking at two different styles you can wear to a grand opening ceremony. I bumped into these two fashionistas at the grand opening of Pipeline Workspaces in Coral Gables; and I had to share their style with you.

Our first fashionista, Lyanne, works in Coral Gables and has a whimsical style that I adore. She is wearing a midi, mesh-top, floral dress with a pink belt and black peep toe wedges. Every time I see Lyanne she is wearing something bright, colorful, and chic along the lines of my favorite stylish muse: Zooey Deschanel. Below you can find similar dresses and shoes at different price points.

Our second fashionable local, Iris, also works in Coral Gables. She is wearing a dark gray, knit, pencil dress with nude heels keeping her entire outfit in neutral colors. Her color palette gives her a sophisticated look and the vibe, “I mean business.” Iris has a great sense of style and sticks to basic colors following Leonardo Da Vinci’s motto, “Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication.”

About Author

Paola Mendez is a hypnotherapist, published author, and the curious soul behind Coral Gables Love and The Blogger Union. Her journey didn't start in a clinician's office — it started at age 15, battling a mind that used food to quiet a constant internal critic. After two decades at war with her own subconscious, searching for peace as a self-described "introvert in a loud world," Paola found her way out through hypnotherapy. That same journey pushed her out into the city she loves, discovering the gems hiding in plain sight all around Coral Gables. Today, she channels both passions into everything she does: helping people quiet their inner critic through her hypnotherapy practice Pao Hypnosis, sharing those subconscious healing tools through her app Mochi Zen, and showcasing the people, places, and flavors that make South Florida worth savoring — one matcha latte at a time. She is also the author of A Taste of Coral Gables, a cookbook featuring recipes from the city's top chefs. Say hello at info@coralgableslove.com
